Indian celebrity fashion designer Sabyasachi made an announcement of his collaboration with one of the leading retail brand H&M. Sabyasachi x HM will be available from April 16 and we can't wait for this haute couture.
There is no one that has not for once wished to own a Sabyasachi in their life. Sabyasachi by Sabyasachi Mukerjee last year completed 20 years in the industry as an elite bridal wear brand. From designing elegant bridal wear to jewellery, Sabyasachi has created a niche of couture holding a brief position in the market. After a number of notable collaborations with leading brands, Mukerjee has announced the launch of a new range in collaboration with the leading Swedish retail brand H&M. The designer decided to diversify from his exclusiveness in crafting the dream bridal wear, to creating a range, Sabyasachi x HM, that is priced competitively along with a brand that is one of the fastest-growing in the Indian market.
H&M is a brand that began collaborating with top designers like Giambattista Valli, Johanna Ortiz, Balmain and Versace, among many in the past has decided to team up with a designer who is a celebrity himself in the Indian market. The collection will incorporate Indian textiles and prints with a mix of modern and traditional silhouettes to create athleisure clothing. This collab will incorporate a popular attire like Saree into fast fashion and penetrating to wider market.
The collection will be out in the stores from April 16 and will be available in limited stores globally and online on H&M and Myntra.
The news of this collab has created excitement among the people. Rather than sales, the collab will be able to garner more Indian customers to the fashion retailer.
