Twitter congratulates Saurav Ganguly on taking over as BCCI's new President

It is a known fact that India worships cricket. It took good leadership and hard work for a sport like Cricket to achieve the popularity it enjoys today. Cricket is loved because of the players who are or have been a part of the sport. One such cricketer who is loved and admired for his contribution to the Indian cricket legacy is Saurav Ganguly or as he is lovingly known, Dada.

Saurav Ganguly is one of the most loved captains of the Indian cricket team. During his time as a player, he established himself as one of the world's leading batsmen. He is also known as 'God of the Off Side' for his prolific offside playing. He is a member of the Indian Premier League and was appointed by the Supreme Court on January 2016. Although he joined Kolkata Knight Riders in 2008 he announced his retirement in the same year. He later continued to be in touch with cricket as a commentator.

However, Saurav Ganguly is all set to make a comeback as he is appointed as the new President of BCCI. With him as the president, Union Home Minister Amit Shah’s son Jay Shah will be the new secretary and Arun Dhumal the new treasurer. This news has sent a gush of happiness among all the cricket fans. They poured in their support on hearing this news.
