Iss baar dulha dulhe ko leke jayega! Ayushmann Khurrana is back with yet another cult-comedy while he talks about homophobia. Check out how Twitter reacted to Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan trailer.
Written and directed by Hitesh Kewalya, Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan touches a topic, most people are uncomfortable about, 'Homosexuality'. The trailer outlines the love story where two men "Aman and Kartik", Ayushmann Khurrana and Jitendra Kumar, falls in love with each other, and like any other Bollywood movie, the two love birds face resistance from the family and society. This time, they consider it to be a disease.
Like always, Twitterati is in awe of how Ayushman manages to get such eccentric scripts what people call as "Ayushman genre" and donning on each character with such ease.
With an amazing cast like Neena Gupta, Gajraj Rao, Jitu K, the movie is in the safe zone and is sure to start a laughter riot. Dialogues like "kab decide kiya ki yeh banoge", "Beta tumhe galat faimi hui h" " Supreme court jin pathakon pe bahas kar rhe h na wo apne aangan me fhoot rahe hain" are commonly heard in the household whenever something like this pops up in the family, but the responses makes the trailer like "Suhagraat se tera roadies start ho jaayega" are humorous while still maintaining the sanity and sensitivity required on the subject.
Something worth noticing is that words like Gay, Homosexuality etc are conveniently used across the trailer (and hopefully throughout the movie) thus using a typical commercial movie to pierce through masses making LGBTQ community acceptable.
Ayushman's look with nose pierced, mehandi on hands, rani dupatta (that slightly resembles Ranbir's Chana merea look) and DDLJ's train scene's spoof is a clear indication that the film is a cut out a romantic comedy-drama film to appeal masses.
