Vinod Bhanushali's biggest-ever courtroom drama Sirf Ek Bandaa Kaafi Hai trailer is out which stars Manoj Bajpayee as the lead will premiere on ZEE5 on May 23.
ZEE5 released the Sirf Ek Bandaa Kaafi Hai trailer, one its latest direct-to-digital original film. Inspired by true events, ‘Sirf Ek Bandaa Kaafi Hai’ is a courtroom drama directed by Apoorv Singh Karki and starring Manoj Bajpayee in and as lawyer P.C Solanki. It's the story of an ordinary man - a high court lawyer who single-handedly fought an extraordinary case against the country’s biggest godman and successfully ended up prosecuting him for the rape of a minor under the POCSO act.
Produced by Vinod Bhanushali’s Bhanushali Studios Limited,Zee Studios, and Suparn S Varma,‘Sirf Ek Bandaa Kaafi Hai’ is touted to be one of the biggest legal courtroom dramas and will premiere exclusively on ZEE5 on May 23, 2023. This is Manoj Bajpayee’s third OTT original collaboration with ZEE5 after the success of Silence… Can You Hear It? and Dial 100.
As seen in the trailer, P.C. Solanki (Manoj Bajpayee) is fighting the biggest case of his life that too against a powerful self-styled godman in a minor girl’s rape case. Despite death threats against him, his family, and the key witnesses, P.C. Solanki is persistent in his fight for the truth. The battle between an ordinary man’s willpower and a godman’s power continued for 5 long years where P.C Solanki fought against some of the country’s most eminent lawyers to prove that no godman is above the law, and that truth will always prevail.
