Sri Lanka Vs Bangladesh match cancelled due to rains; Twitter generates memes to fulfill the entertainment quota

It seems like the Cricket World Cup 2019 faced a hurdle yesterday, as the scheduled match between Sri Lanka and Bangladesh had to be called off.

The rains don’t plan to stop the outpour anytime soon in England as the country is seeing them almost everyday. This led to the cancellation of the World Cup match between Sri Lanka and Bangladesh; three and a half hours after it was supposed to begin. Both teams got a point each.

The Sri Lankan team must surely have been angered by this as their match with Pakistan was also abandoned due to the same reasons. And while viewers were disappointed as well, they found a way to cheer up –memes!
