The news of Sushant Singh Rajput’s demise has left his family, fans and colleagues shocked.

On the morning of 14th June 2020, Mumbai police confirmed that Sushant Singh Rajput had died by suicide and was found in his Bandra home. News reports also confirmed that Police officials made a statement saying that the investigation was underway. The news came as a shock to many including the actor’s family, fans, and well-wishers.

Fans and well-wishers took to Social Media to bid goodbye to the talented actor:

A young man who started his career from daily soaps, Sushant soon entered Bollywood because of his talent and dedication. He received love and appreciation from all of over India as he gave back to back successful performances in Kai Po Che, PK, Detective Byomkesh Bakshy!, M.S. Dhoni: The Untold Story, Kedarnath etc.

Sushant Singh Rajput had a huge fan-following and was equally appreciated by industry critics. His ability to work with a debutant or an established actor or director proved his easy-going nature. From pulling off emotional roles to creating a biography of a renowned cricketer to playing a detective with quirks, made Sushant an extremely versatile actor. Sushant’s last theatrical release was Chhichhore, which went on to become a huge success at the box-office and he was also seen in Drive, which released on Netflix.

Sushant Singh Rajput will be certainly missed, may his soul rest in peace.
