The Taaza Khabar trailer shows Vasant Gawade go beyond his limits with his new found power

YouTuber and actor Bhuvan Bam is back at it again with his OTT debut with Hotstar Specials Taaza Khabar.

Internet's favorite Bhuvan Bam is all ready to make the best use of his power. The YouTuber who is a prominent name in content creation is known for his sketches and characters. After years in the digital space, he will be seen playing a more Mumbai-based sanitation worker in his upcoming OTT show Taaza Khabar.

Who doesn't want to be the King of Mumbai, Wadala ka Wolf, Thane ka Tiger or Chembur ka Cheetah? Everyone dreams of a life more comfortable and Taaza Khabar is a story of one such Mumbaikar and his dreams. The show revolves around Vasant "Vasya" Gawde (Bhuvan Bam), working as a sanitation worker who later on stumbles upon magical powers that ends up as a curse causing problems in his life.

A story around class-based life and the want to have a better life. It looks like someone who has his everyday struggles and is always on the look out for ways that will pull him out of the rags and lead him to a life of riches. The trailer gave the audience a surprising look into Bhuvan's character that happens to be the polar opposite of all the ones he is known for on YouTube. We will see him laugh, cry, be angry and even kick some ass in the show.

Apart from BB, the show stars Shriya Pilgaonkar, JD Chakravarthy, Deven Bhojani, Prathmesh Parab, Nitya Mathur, Shilpa Shukla, Mithilesh Chaturvedi. This light-hearted story is directed by Himank Gaur and created and written by Abbas Dalal and Hussain Dalal.
