Here's why Tahir Raj Bhasin's villain character from Force 2 made it to our list of iconic villains of Bollywood.
All it takes for the audiences and movie lovers to take the eye off the hero onscreen is put an equally amazing villain. Villains are like the spices that add the much-required zinc into the movie making it more interesting to watch. Bollywood's list of villains has been exquisite and iconic. Over the years this list has only diversified with young and varied actors playing villains who have been winning hearts. Tahir Raj Bhasin's villain avatars in Force 2 as Shiv Sharma can be counted as one.
If you want the audiences to take their eyes off John Abraham in a movie, you need an amazing villain like Tahir Raj Bhasin who can distract the people from him with his evilness. Shiv Sharma in the movie is the one who easily makes it to the 'characters we hate list' as he speaks against the country's law enforcement. With the intense eye of a hawk, Shiv Sharma is every bit evil and trying to fulfill his vicious plans. He is tough enough to give DCP Yashvardhan Singh (played by John) a hard time and a bunch of amazing fight sequences.
This is Tahir's second movie as a villain and he managed to get to the audience again after his first role. He made his debut with Kismat Love Paisa Dilli (2012) and also made brief appearances in Kai Po Che! (2013) and One by Two (2014), before making his official film debut with Mardaani (2014). The role in Mardaani really made him stand out and led to people recognising him. Tahir was nominated for Filmfare Award in the Best Supporting Actor category and the Screen Award for the Best Antagonist.
Here are some of the iconic dialogues by Shiv Sharma:
"Puri Duniya Main Pata Hai RAW Ke Kitne Under Cover Agents Hai… Socho…… Tumhari Country Bina RAW Ke Kaise Hogi…"
"Do Din Main Mein RAW Se Aisa Badla Lunga Jise INDIA Kabhi Bhul Nahin Paayega.."
"Ek Advice Dun Sir, Mujhe Dhundna Band Karo… Miss Kaur Se Shaadi Karke Kisi Pahadi Ilake Main Ghar Basa Lo…"
