Satyaprem Ki Katha starring Kartik Aaryan and Kiara Advani released on the big screens on June 29 and here’s what the Janta thought of the film!
Satyaprem Ki Katha revolves around Sattu aka Satyprem (Kartik Aaryan), Katha (Kiara Advani) and their unconventional love story. Sattu comes from a middle class family where his mom, Diwali (Supriya Pathak) and his sister, Sejal (Shikha Talsania) are the breadwinners of the family. While he and his dad (Gajraj Rao) do all the household work. Sattu’s world is turned upside down when he falls in love at first sight with Katha but their love story is anything but smooth. Katha carries a huge secret from her past and whether their relationship will be able to survive the test of that is the crux of the film. It is directed by Sameer Vidwans and produced by Sajid Nadiadwala.
The Janta loved Kiara Advani’s performance in the film, some even say it might be her best performance to date. The movie was the perfect family entertainer for many and Kartik’s role as the hopeless romantic adds to that. But there are a few who also felt that the climax was abrupt, there were too many songs, and there was no need for the Pasoori remake as it did not fit the situation.
