Lost starring Yami Gautam and Pankaj Kapur released on ZEE5 on February 17 and here’s what the Janta thought of the film!
Directed by Anirudh Roy, Lost delves into the topic of missing persons across the country. The film is set in Kolkata and follows Vidhi Sahani (Yami Gautam), a crime reporter who is on a quest to solve the case of a missing Dalit theatre activist, Ishan (Tushar Pandey). Other pivotal roles in the show that are connected to this case include State Minister Ranjan Varman (Rahul Khanna), Ishan’s ex-girlfriend Ankita Chauhan (Pia Bajpiee), and his sister (Honey Jain). Vidhi takes the help and guidance of her grandfather (Pankaj Kapur) whenever she’s stuck while solving this case. Meanwhile, on a personal front, she’s also in a long-distance relationship with her boyfriend, Jeet (Neel Bhopalam).
After Dasvi and A Thursday, the Janta feels that Yami Gautam has hit it out of the park again with her performance in Lost. Along with Yami, Pankaj Kapur is also one of the characters from the story who left an impact on them. While some felt that the story was gripping and engaging, there were few who also thought that it lacked cohesion where the climax was really headed.
