Class is an 8 part series which is available to stream on Netflix and is an Indian adaption of Netflix's original series Elite. Elite is a Spanish drama that's heading to its seventh season this year. The show consists of a not at all quaint cast, Zeyn Shaw, Anjali Sivaraman, Ayesha Kanga, Gurfateh Pirzada, Naina Bhan, Chayan Chopra, Cyaawal Singh, Piyush Khati and Moses Koul. Directed by Ashim Ahluwalia, Class focuses on different classes in the Indian society!
Class revolves around three working class students - Dheeraj, Saba and Balli getting a scholarship in Hampton International School, the most prestigious school in the country and how things go south post their admission. What should have been a golden opportunity only becomes their worse nightmare because of students from the higher class background who make their lives a living hell while everyone at school fights for Hampton Gold, a scholarship opportunity to study abroad.
While the Janta mentioned other things, they seemed to be focused more on the queer love part of the show. The Janta is grateful to see cute moments between Faruq and Dhruv. For some people, the show was a little too hyped while some found it boring but this queer couple kept them hooked through and through!
