The Marvelous Mrs Maisel season 5 trailer looks like Midge’s last shot at making it big in the world of showbiz!

The Marvelous Mrs Maisel season 5 starring Rachel Brosnahan shows her taking over the male dominating comedy industry looking absolutely stunning of course!

The trailer for The Marvelous Mrs Maisel season 5 picks up exactly where it left us last season. You see her standing in front of The Gordon Ford Show studio with a voiceover of Gordon Ford asking her “What drives Midge Maisel?” and she replies “I want a big life, I wanna make it big” and that immediately sets the tone for what we can expect from this upcoming season. She is a woman trying to make it amongst the sexist world of comedy where it's hard for people to digest that a woman can be more than just a pretty face and she can be funny too. Like Midge describes ‘it’s two forward and three steps back’ and that’s always how it's been for her. But now it’s time to seize the day, find that one big gig that’ll put her on the map for good. 

On the love life front, it looks like she is still stuck between Joel and Lenny. If that wasn’t enough, Milo Ventimiglia’s character also returns in an extensive way even though Midge came to know last season that she was the other woman in the marriage. Who she will finally end up with has always been a big mystery in Amy Shermon Palladino’s stories (case in point: Gilmore Girls). Her ride or die Susie is still working hard to bring her girl the spotlight she deserves and things have started looking up for her personally as well.

Midge’s family looks even more chaotic than before if that’s even possible! But of course all of the chaos takes place amidst the always aesthetically pleasing colour palette of the show. And she does all of this wearing her marvelous outfits throughout the show and season 5 looks like it's ready to serve us new outfit inspiration! She has resonated with so many single women and a moment from the trailer when a fan comes up to her and says, “You say everything I think of” and Midge replies “that’s a terrifying connection” highlights how the struggles and the rant about them bring women together.

From the season 5 trailer, it looks like Midge finds herself closer than ever to the success she's dreamed of, only to discover that closer than ever is still so far away!
