'Tiku Weds Sheru,' starring Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Avneet Kaur, revolves around the lives of a couple from Bhopal trying to find success in the city of dreams.
It's not every day that you see Nawazuddin Siddiqui working in a romantic comedy and the 21-year-old actor Avneet Kaur making her debut. Produced by Kangana Ranaut's Manikarnika Films, 'Tiku Weds Sheru' released on June 23 on Amazon Prime Video. As per its description, "Sheru and Tiku are marginalised souls from the underprivileged strata of society. They are ambitious for a better life but, life has different plans for them... Sheru falls in love with Tiku but they get caught between the chaos of the underworld, drugs, and romance, and face one tragedy after the other without any time to deal with their sorrow."
The premise sounds quite interesting, but the film is garnering both good and bad reactions from the janta. Kaur, especially, has emerged as a star leaving the Janta impressed with her debut performance.
