This brave woman who was molested on a train, explains legal proceedings through a Twitter thread to help others

India saw an uproar last year and the country woke up to its #MeToo movement. Women from all walks of life, especially the entertainment industry came forward to name those who had used their power and position to sexually harass them. The fight against this social evil may have gained attention and momentum last year but the fight is far from over. But women are ready to fight and this incident shared by a brave woman on Twitter is a beaming example.

A Twiter user who goes by the handle @sokrafood shared a horrific incident she faced while commuting through the Shatabdi. Her tweets reveal that a drunk co-passenger molested her and how she stood up for herself but that's not all she shares. She shared a series of tweets explaining the procedure she went through to seek legal justice through all the right channels, hoping to help others.
