New Update
UGC

Memes started flooding on Twitter after the University Grant Commission (UGC) declared for the final year exams to be held in September.

The Coronavirus pandemic has caused a lot of trouble in many fields. In the wake of the current situation, many state boards cancelled the examinations to avoid students getting together in large numbers. These exams have been cancelled or postponed at the school, college and university level. However, the University Grant Commission (UGC) in a recent announcement said that it cannot allow cancellation of the final year students' exams. The UGC released a new guideline whereby it has asked all the State governments to hold the final year exams by September-end.

According to the guidelines, the universities will be asked to carry out the exams either online or offline or blended mode. The UGC had earlier released an initiative where the States were asked to conduct the exams by the start of July and declare the results by the end of the month. This news had also caused a stir among the students. With many exams cancelled, the final year students took to Twitter to show their resentment on having to write the exams during such a crisis via memes.
