The Umbrella Academy season 3 starring Aidan Gallagher and Tom Hopper was released on Netflix on June 22. Let's find out what the Janta thinks about it!
The Umbrella Academy season 3 finally arrived on Netflix and resolved the major cliffhanger that fans had eagerly been awaiting since 2020. The new season sees the siblings saving the world from an apocalypse but also facing some new issues. They have been replaced by a new group of super siblings from, The Sparrow Academy. Turns out that Reginald Hargreeves played by Colm Feore adopted another group of siblings who share the same birthday and trained them to save the world as well. The new group includes Umbrella's brother Ben played by Justin H. Min who is definitely no longer dead. The siblings are kicked out of their own home and move into the eccentric Hotel Obsidian. Klaus played by Robert Sheehan wants to discover his true origins this season. Luther played by Tom Hopper forms a relationship with a member from the Sparrow Academy and everyone's favorite Number Five played by Aidan Gallagher after 58 years of life, is just looking to retire. Diego played by David Castaneda doesn't want any more rejections but gets stuck in a complicated relationship anyway. And as we say farewell to Vanya Hargreeves we welcome him as Viktor Hargreeves corresponding with Elliot Page's real-life transformation. But the sibling that goes through the most emotional turmoil this season is Allison played by Emmy-Raver Lampman, as the new season brings her some very unfortunate news.
When the Umbrellas realize that their presence in the current timeline has created another Apocalypse, they are once again pulled back in to save the world from falling apart. The series is based on the collection of comics and graphics novels written by Gerard Way. This season brings us everything from a chaotic battle to some comic moments like a totally unexpected dance break.
