The Finance Minister, Nirmala Sitharaman presented the Union Budget for the fiscal year 2019-20. While the economy is showing signs of slowdown and people are finding it difficult to find jobs, it was crucial to give people hope of future growth and prosperity. One of the key points was that there is no change in personal income tax rates; there will be extra surcharge on the elite.
