Directed by Aditya Dhar, URI stars Vicky Kaushal, Yami Gautam, and Paresh Rawal as the leads. The movie is based on true events and it revolves around the surgical strikes that India undertook in Pakistan in September 2016. It’s a true blue war film with action-packed sequences which shows modern-day warfare and combat techniques.

#UriTheSurgicalStrike is a rather mature film though it visibly lacks research. The director makes up for it by running a parallel family drama. Watch it for @vickykaushal09 who brings the right amount of intensity to his role and drives the film from start to finish.
