⁣Did you know?⠀ ⠀ 🌾Ethical Fashion – concerns human and animal rights.⠀ 🌾Sustainable (Eco) Fashion – concerns the environment impact.⠀ 🌾Slow Fashion – concerns the whole product life cycle.⠀ ⠀ This lockdown I have been actively learning more about sustainable living, sustainability in kitchen and how the fashion industry is gaining momentum to shift to Eco Fashion.⠀ ⠀ I am ecstatic that India is blessed with such outstanding brands for Sustainable Clothing and we are all embracing the new shift 🤎⠀ ⠀ More and more brands are taking cognisance of it and slowly shifting and taking interest in the transition which not only lessens the impact on environment but also creates sustainable eco-system for the craft and its maker.⠀ ⠀ Considering we all are gravitating towards eco-friendly fashion we often forget that the age old habit of using an old cloth for cleaning is also “sustainability”⠀ ⠀ A significant step to this transition starts at HOME.⠀ ⠀ 🌿Systematise your closet and shop responsibly.⠀ 🌿Avoid impulsive buying and visiting malls/stores for no apparent reason.⠀ 🌿Cultivate the habit of maintaining this lifestyle in every aspect NOT only fashion.⠀ 🌿Avoid wastage and practice minimalism.⠀ 🌿Educate yourself about the subject because it is truly eye opening!⠀ ⠀ Shop Less•Choose Better•Decide Wisely⠀ ⠀ Although I do understand affordability is the main issue and that is why we prefer fast fashion, but lets not ignore the fact that every small step counts.⠀ ⠀ Basically we all unanimously should work to AVOID the depletion of natural resources which is the sole purpose of following a sustainable lifestyle.⠀ ⠀ PS. Just made a huge batch of scrumptious HUMMUS to serve in my cute eco-rainbow bowl! (Linked in bio!) And recipe below if you wanna make some hummus too! Homemade if you didn’t know is SO so easy to whip up and much healthier and tastier and waaay cheaper! (The smell alone is just ah so good! If you want to double or triple the batch, you can food prep by freezing in containers so they are ready to go and just defrost on the counter before serving! Here are some health benefits to smile about while munching- Hummus is Abundant in Plant-based Protein. ... Hummus is Rich in Various Vitamins and Minerals. ... Hummus Can Keep Your Bones at Optimal Health. ... Hummus Can Help Lower Cholesterol. ... Hummus Is full of Fiber for ultimate digestion! PS you can dr. It up with curry or cilantro, put on all sorts of twists! If you have suggestions drop them below! My mummas HUMMUS Ingredients * ● ¼ cup lemon juice * ● 1 tablespoon minced garlic (powder can work too * ● 1 x 15.oz can organic garbanzo beans (chickpeas) drained * ● 1 bunch of chives * ● ½ teaspoon salt * ● 1 teaspoon ground cumin * ● ¼ cup tahini * ● ¼ cup olive oil * ● Salt and pepper * ● Cayenne pepper or paprika (optional) Blend for about 1-2 min until smooth! Top with pepper and extra paprika!

Avocado, chickpea and corn salad. Now there’s a salad I could fall in love with! A combination of some of my favorite foods, it takes practically no time to put together. If you ask me what I love more, cooking or styling, I will always say I love being in the kitchen. CREAMY #VEGAN MAC & GREENS 🍃🧀🥦 super simple & perf for healthy din this wkend! almost called this “chlorophyll mac” but my mom said that was weird 🤷🏻‍♀️ anyways..✨recipe below✨ lmk what you guys think!!🥣 ⁣ ⁣ MAC & GREENS⁣ Serves 6 to 8⁣ 1 pound conchiglie pasta (can use any shape or GF)⁣ 1 cup raw cashews*⁣ 1 cup water⁣ 5 ounces baby spinach⁣ 1 cup fresh Italian parsley (I rip it from the bunch, some stem ok)⁣ 3 cloves garlic⁣ ¼ cup olive oil (can use any mild oil)⁣ 1 ½ teaspoons sea salt⁣ Freshly ground black pepper⁣ Red chili flakes⁣ ⁣ ⁣ *If you are not using a high-powered blender, such as a Vitamix, soak cashews overnight or boil for 10 minutes and drain. This will soften them and ensure a silky smooth cream.⁣ ⁣ ⁣ Bring a large pot of heavily salted water to a boil. Add pasta and cook according to package directions. Drain and return to pot.⁣ ⁣ ⁣ Meanwhile, in a blender, combine cashews and water, and blend on high until very smooth (about 2 minutes). Set aside. In a food processor, combine spinach, parsley, garlic, oil, and salt. Process until smooth. Add cashew cream to the food processor and process until incorporated. ⁣ ⁣ Add sauce to pot and toss to coat. Adjust seasoning to taste. Serve into bowls and top with black pepper and chili flakes. Leftovers can be served warm or cold.💚
