Veteran theater and film actor Shriram Lagoo passes away at 92

Owing to age-related ailments veteran actor, Shriram Lagoo, passes away at the age of 92. Twitterati pays their respect for the actor.

Indian actor and an ENT surgeon Shriram Lagoo who has contributed immensely in the field of art expired at the age of 92. Known for his character roles, he has been part of several Hindi and Marathi movies as well as Hindi, Marathi and Gujarati play. Apart from acting, he has also directed over 20 Marathi plays. While he did an incredible job in portraying characters on the screen and stage, he was also vocal about various causes. The most iconic characters that he is famously known for are Marathi plays such as Natsamrat and Himalayachi Saoli, and films such as Pinjra. Twitter paid their respect for this great actor.

The Great Actor Dr #ShriramLagoo is no more.

He is Known as the original #Natsamrat ( नटसम्राट ), his plays dominated the 2nd half of the 20th century. He was known for movies & plays include #Sinhasaan ( सिंहासन), Pinjara (पिंजरा) Mukta & Ethe Oshalala Mutryu.
