Since Thursday morning, Vodafone Idea (Vi) users have been experiencing network and connectivity issues across the state of Maharashtra. While being upset and annoyed with the networking giant, netizens are using up social media space to express their complaints while roasting it inch by inch through freshly created Vi Network down memes!
The anger is especially coming from students, employees, or basically, youngsters who have either online classes or Work From Home (WFH) to do, that is disrupted due to Vi's network problems.
The connectivity issue is followed by Wednesday's heavy rain and thunderstorm that was witnessed in the several parts of the state. Users in Pune was the first to experience this problem, which was then followed by users in other areas. With many users tweeting and raising the matter, #VodafodeIndia started trending on Twitter, even though Vi is to acknowledge any complaints yet.
"Is Vodafone Idea down? Payment is successful but not showing updated plans. Not able to call 199 or 198," said a Twitter user. Meanwhile, another one tweeted saying, "No network signal on Vi since last night. Just spoke to the customer care and the person informed there is an outage in Maharashtra due to yesterday's rain and it may take 6 more hours to fix it."
