New Update
BTS world tour

While the entire world celebrates BTS’ comeback, Indian fans can’t help but feel they were so close yet so far, yet again!

After a 3 year hiatus as a group and their last concert being almost 4 years ago, BTS is finally getting back on stage. Armys from all around the world have been waiting for the super group to get back on tour and reunite with them just like the good old days! Given that this is their first world tour after their military service, the hype for it is through the roof and it’s all everyone can talk about! Last night, Bighit Music announced the schedule for the world tour and while it includes 79 shows across 34 regions, India was still notably missing from the list for this year.

The tour is set to kick off in April 2026 in Goyang, South Korea followed by performances in the USA, Japan, Mexico, London, Singapore and Thailand. India’s exclusion from the list has hit Indian fans particularly hard as there were quite a few hints recently that suggested otherwise. Just last month, BTS member V hinted during his live stream that he will be seeing Indian fans in 2026. Furthermore, the recent exhibition for Jungkook’s Golden moments, making it BTS’ first official event in India, felt like we’re finally ready to be on that list. And to top it all, BTS’ production house Hybe opened a branch in Mumbai last year which sealed the deal for a concert expectation for Indian fans!

Having said that, the current world tour schedule that is released has shows up until March 2027 and Bighit has mentioned that more countries will be added at a later notice. This feels like hope yet again for Indian fans to possibly make it to the second list but still hold on to their patience up until the latter half of 2027.
