Sourav Ganguly turns cop in hilarious collab with Netflix's Khakee: The Bengal Chapter

Sourav Ganguly featured in a promotional video for ‘Khakee: The Bengal Chapter’ released by Netflix. The witty collab has hit the right note and is winning over the netizens. 

As Netflix gears up for the highly anticipated premiere of Khakee: The Bengal Chapter on March 20, speculations were rife about former Indian cricket captain Sourav Ganguly's cameo in the Netflix series. The rumors got the cricket fans excited and became a talking point on social media platforms over the last few weeks. However, the air has been finally cleared as the streaming giant released a promotional video today. The video did feature Dada in a uniform, but for a collab that no one saw coming!

The former cricketing great won't be seen in the series, however, he agreed to the collab as a part of promotions for the same.

The series has been extensively shot in Kolkata and the gripping narrative and stellar performances make it a must-watch for anyone who appreciates a well-made thriller. I have the deepest respect and admiration for a maker like Neeraj Pandey and this collaboration with Netflix has been an absolute delight. Backed by the creative powerhouse Friday Storytellers, Netflix’s Khakee: The Bengal Chapter is captained by Neeraj Pandey. Directors Debatma Mandal and Tushar Kanti Ray weave their storytelling magic to deliver an adrenaline-packed thriller. The series boasts of an interesting lineup featuring Jeet Madnani, Prosenjit Chatterjee, Saswata Chatterjee, Ritwik Bhowmik, Aadil Zafar Khan, Chitrangda Singh, Parambrata Chatterjee,  Pooja Chopra, Aakanksha Singh, Mimoh Chakraborty, and Shraddha Das.
