World Suicide Prevention Day

This World Suicide Prevention Day, let's pledge to work together and extend some love, support and comfort to those in need.

Did you know that 70% of suicides are among working adults? The harrowing statistic is a major cause for concern and why we need to spread awareness on World Suicide Prevention Day. We live in the now and often stretch ourselves thin while shouldering several responsibilities and taking on several roles. And most of the times, we feel that we have it all under control. But what seems like from the outside, is rarely what's on the inside.

Working-class adults are so busy with their jobs, taking care of their children or their elderly, that they barely have time for self-preservation. Looking after themselves is a luxury only a few can afford. That's exactly what takes a toll on their physical and mental health.

But this World Suicide Prevention Day, let's work together to raise awareness about mental health conditions and reach out to loved ones who are in distress. Let's work together because suicide is not the answer. If you know anyone around you going through a stressful time, you can get help by calling these 5 organizations in India -
