Zee5's Helmet tackles an important issue with a side of comedy

Zee5's Helmet tackles the issue of using protection in our country cause 'savdhani hati, dhurghatna ghati' with side dose of comedy.

Zee5's Helmet trailer was released yesterday and we can see Aparshakti Khurana, Abhishek Banerjee, and Ashish Verma turn into entrepreneurs with a truckload of condoms. Now what do they do with it, only the film could tell. But the film tries to tackle the social struggle of buying a condom in a small town whereof the ideology surrounding condoms causes embarrassment to buy one. While everyone needs a condom lucky are the people who can actually get it!

We see Aparshakti AKA Lucky deal with the problem of "medical store see condom maang pana ek rashtriya samsiya" and end buying a whole lot of things but a condom and hears an epic comeback from his girlfriend Pranutan Bahl AKA Rupali. Elsewhere we see Abhishek Banerjee AKA Sultan deal with a problem of his own professionally. And Ashish Verma AKA Minus dancing and picking up money in a shaddi's band. Evidently, these three are facing financial struggles individually. And hence together hatch a plan to steal a truckload of mobile phones which turns out to be even successful. But the twist in the tale comes when instead of mobile phones inside the boxes they find condoms that they find hard to sell. But while selling condoms is a struggle in the public sphere that doesn't mean people don't want it. Hence another plan hatches of wearing a helmet which is also local slang for condom and distributes it privately. Well whether their unique business plan succeeds or not that only film can tell!

With witty dialogues and a full small-town vibe, the trailer of the film tries to raise an important issue with a side dose of comedy. While the trailer is definitely interesting and entertaining we'll have to wait for the film to come out to know whether it's successful in its aim or not. Directed by Satramm Ramani and written by Rohan Shankar, Helmet strikes on the platform on Zee5 on 3rd September.
