The latest entrant to join the Batman crew is Zoe Kravitz as the new Catwoman.
Zoe Kravitz is an American actress, songwriter and model. She is popular for her roles in Big Little Lies, Mad Max: Fury Road and Fantastic Beasts series. Daughter of musician Lenny Kravitz and actress Lisa Bonet she has her own unique persona and characteristics.
Zoe Kravitz will be reviving the character of Catwoman in the 2021 release. Catwoman is considered as an antiheroine who breaks rules in order to help those in need. It is said that Zoe Kravitz had auditioned for the same role played by Anne Hathaway in The Dark Knight Rises but was not selected for the part claiming she was too urban for it. But it will not be the first time that she will play the part. She has voiced for the same character in The Lego Batman Movie earlier.
Among many congratulating her was her step-dad and Aquaman himself, Jason Mamoa.
