Zwigato starring Kapil Sharma and Shahana Goswami released on the big screens on March 17 and here’s what the Janta thought of the film!
Directed by Nandita Das, Zwigato focuses on the struggles and behind the scenes of a delivery man and the things that he goes through to make ends meet. The face of Indian TV comedy, Kapil Sharma plays Manas Mahto, who loses his job as a floor manager at a factory and eventually has to take up the job of a delivery man. While showing his daily hustles in the film, we also get to see how the delivery people who we are so dependent on are often exploited so much under false pretence. Shahana Goswami plays Pratima, Manas’ wife who has to take up a cleaning job at a mall to help her husband make ends meet.
The Janta feels that this movie not only shows the realities of life but also encourages us to be kinder towards people. Kapil Sharma who has been a part of our TV screens for a decade now, has taken on a role much out of his comfort zone and that was clearly the highlight of the film for many. Comedy comes naturally to him but many feel that he has proved his versatility by playing a more serious character in a much more dramatic setting than people are usually used to seeing him in.
You don't always get to see a film that touches your heart and delivers a powerful message at the same time! #Zwigato is one such film which will stay with you for a long time. Kudos to Kapil Sharma and the entire team for making a great film🥰🤩
