2 Hearts was first released in October 2020 but since its release on Netflix, it’s currently trending again and these dialogues from this film will make you feel better than yesterday.

2 Hearts feels like a Hollywood rom-com we start watching because it’s a comfort watch but it’s also much more than that. It’s about two parallel love stories that turn out to be real tear-jerkers. A college student falls madly in love with a classmate, while in another time and place, a Cuban exile falls for a beautiful flight attendant. Sometimes it is so heartbreaking to see that we’re living our lives to the fullest and at the same time, there’s a person at some corner of the world living their life on borrowed time. Characters from the movie, Chris and Jorge were living two completely different lives but one had everything he ever wanted and the other had to fight for that just one pump of oxygen. This film highlights that life is difficult but precious, so make sure you’re the one driving your wheel of life.

2 Hearts will also make you think about different versions of yourself. As the film is based on a true story, watching it on our screens gives so much meaning to the scenes and dialogues we see throughout the movie. It’s all rainbows and butterflies in the beginning but if you zoom in a little you’ll see the depths of it and oh boy is it beautiful. It will make you bawl your eyes out but it will also let you keep a smile as a souvenir. The actors in the movie too gave justice to the characters they played which gave the movie more wings to fly!

“There are only two ways to live your life
one is as though nothing is a miracle
the other as is though everything is a miracle
I choose to believe the latter and for good reasons.

“There is often more to things that meets the eye that if we can zoom out a little, we’ll realize that life is happening for us, not to us.

“It doesn’t always seem like rainbows and butterflies. It is hard to zoom out in a moment like this.

Before you go to sleep tonight, please call someone you love and tell them. Call a friend or a relative you haven’t talked to in a while. Don’t ask them about their grades or their cellphone bill, just tell them how much you love them.
