Indian fashion blogger and influencer, Masoom Minawala Mehta and influencer, Diipa Büller-Khosla to walk the red carpet of the 74th Cannes Film Festival.
The 74th Cannes Film Festival kicked off yesterday ie. July 6 as famous celebrities and influencers walked the red carpet dressed in their best attire. Indian influencers Massom Minawala and Diipa Büller-Khosla joined these well-known faces of the entertainment industry from around the globe.
Masoom was also part of Cannes in 2019 and she is back at it again this year. The fashion influencer has been putting Indian fashion on the global map with her engaging content. She has been a part of various campaigns and brand endorsements in the past giving us all major goals. The influencer who has been blogging for over a decade now was listed on CNN’s ‘20 under 40’ list. She is supporting Indian women designers with her Empowher campaign. She shared her red carpet look for the opening night of the festival and she looks like a princess.
Diipa Büller-Khosla, on the other hand, will be walking the carpet for the third year. While her look for the night is yet to be revealed, her followers are quite excited to know that she will be back on the red carpet again. Diipa is an influencer who has been awarded the Influencer of the Year, made it to 19 covers, and also the Most Influential Indian list twice. She also has been vocal about various issues and she's the founder of the NGO, Post For Change.
The festival is following all the proper COVID-19 protocols. With Spike Lee as the president of this year's jury, the festival began with an official photocall for the 2021 competition jury. The jury also includes director Mati Diop, singer-songwriter Mylène Farmer, actress-director Maggie Gyllenhaal, actress-director Mélanie Laurent, writer-director Kleber Mendonça Filho, writer-director Jessica Hausner, actor Tahar Rahim, and actor Song Kang-ho. The winners of this year's festival will be announced by the jury during the Cannes Closing Ceremony on Saturday, July 17.
