The writer-director of Sarabhai vs Sarabhai, Aatish Kapadia, through his Facebook account expressed his thoughts on this alleged Pakistani copy of the show.

The 2004-2006 television show, Sarabhai Vs Sarabhai is a cult-classic show. There has been no other show that comes to beat the level of this show created for television in the genre of comedy. 

In the earlier era of TV, where every other show was about the drama of Sassu-Bhau, this show came as a breath of fresh air. The narrative was trial and tested but the treatment was something unique and new. The viewers loved watching the show that it became iconic. Deven Bhojani was the director and also played Dushyant in Sarabhai vs Sarabhai. With Satish Shah, Ratna Pathak Shah, Sumeet Raghavan, Rupali Ganguly, and Rajesh Kumar, this show is beloved of India. In 2017, its second season aired on Hotstar

When the news of a copy of the show came out, it spread like wildfire. The writer of Sarabhai vs Sarabhai, Aatish Kapadia, posted about this news on his Facebook. He called it a “blatantly” copied show and he got to know about it when someone shared a link to the show which has been streaming free on a video platform.
