Alia Bhatt Records A Song For The Mahesh Bhatt Directorial, Sadak 2

Alia Bhatt has been quite busy between shooting for commercials, magazines and her upcoming films. The first one being Brahmastra opposite Ranbir Kapoor and the second, Sadak 2 with Aditya Roy Kapur. Alia has already finished shooting for Brahmastra and will be kickstarting the second schedule of the Mahesh Bhatt directorial. Besides acting, Alia will also be crooning a number for the film and has recorded the scratch version for a song earlier this week.

A source reveals:

Jeet Gannguly's score is ready while the lyrics are yet to be finalised. Jeet da wanted to understand Alia's pitch and voice modulation, so they decided to record the scratch. The lyrics will now be rewritten under the supervision of Mahesh Bhatt. It is a romantic number and comes at a crucial point in the film, so Bhatt sir is being meticulous about it. The final track will be recorded only after the unit returns from their Ooty schedule in August".

The film also stars Sanjay Dutt and Pooja Bhatt. Sadak 2 will also be marking Alia and her father Mahesh Bhatt's first ever collaboration.
