It was on August 28th that a violent incident erupted over a car parking issue outside Amity University's campus. Two Amity University students, named Madhav and Harsh were brutally beaten when they tried to confront two girls about a wrongly parked car. The heated argument resulted in a bunch of goons who knew the girls beating up Harsh and Madhav. The former has received several stitched the latter is admitted in the ICU.
The violent act witnessed by the other Amity University students caught the attention of netizens with photos and videos being shared on Twitter. The people who has witnessed it Live and those who saw the videos raised their voice seeking justice for the two and punishment for the perpetrators.
Several online reports reveal Harsh's complaint to the police which read, “It was around 2.30 p.m. I was in my i20 car and was looking to park it while a girl in her Ford Endeavour came that way. She parked her SUV in the middle of the road and when I asked her to move, she started arguing with me. I parked my vehicle elsewhere and then when I confronted her again, she started abusing and threatening me after which the argument escalated."
According to a report by Hindustantimes, an official from Noida Police Sector 39 said, “We have received two cross FIRs, one from Harsh and the other from the girl. We are examining the CCTV footages of the area and action will be taken after conclusive evidence."
Hashtags #JusticeForHarsh and #JusticeForMadhav started trending on Twitter as more people including the eyewitnesses of the crime rose in support of the two boys.
