Binge on these 10 feel-good queer films and revel the queerness within us

Let us celebrate the queerness in us and enlighten ourselves with these feel-good queer films!

The world of cinema has beautifully captured the stories of queer people in heartwarming and inspiring ways. Queer movies have always played a huge part in my journey of finding myself. They give you the warmth and sense of understanding that is otherwise ignored by some of our families. We've come a long way in terms of representation, where we don't see a queer character just being a sidekick or the typical "gay best friend". By showing queer characters in the lead shows how cinema has changed its perception towards queer films.

Growing up, I had no queer character to look up to but when I watch these movies now, it makes my 14 year old self happy because of the amount of representation of queer characters. Somewhere now, there will be a 14 year old fighting for their existence and they're going to look up to these characters and feel a sense of acceptance. From heartfelt romance scenes, teens finding themselves to the hard hitting reality of being queer, these films helped me embrace my queerness and is surely a good way to embrace yours too!
