From Rohit Sharma making it to the upside down to fun brand collaborations we didn’t see coming our way, Netflix truly went all out for the final chapter!

While the month of December brought us some festive cheer, it also had our minds fixated on how Eleven and her gang would fight Vecna and save Hawkins! Stranger Things is Netflix’s most watched series till date and of course the streaming platform had to go above and beyond to promote its final season and India was not far behind in that aspect either. From quirky brand collaborations, hilarious videos with content creators and getting the best of the best in India to promote the finale, Netflix made sure Stranger Things took over our minds and our screens this month!

Stranger Things x Rohit Sharma

In India, the best way to get our undivided attention is through cricket and Netflix India left no stone unturned for the final season! They got none other than Rohit Sharma to star in a quirky video talking about Stranger Things through Cricket terms. The video garnered a lot of attention on social media since it was rather unexpected to see the beloved cricketer be all hands on deck for the finale of this series!

Mike and Dustin x iconic Indian objects we have grown up with

In another wholesome video by Netflix India, we see Mike(Finn Wolfhard) and Dustin(Gaten Matarazzo) check out different Indian objects that we often see in our kitchen like a Hawkins pressure cooker, a steel tiffin box, belan, and even our jhaadu to see which of these things they could use best in the Upside Down! Mumbai turned Upside Down for Stranger Things

Before Volume 2 released, not only did Netflix India hold an event where Demogorgons quite literally came out in 3D, they also turned public spaces like metros, train stations and airports into the Upside Down! 

Stranger Things x Vi

Vi, in their collaboration with Stranger Things, held an exclusive giveaway where if fans gave the right answers, they got some exclusive goodies to take home! Not just that, they also had a limited-edition Stranger Things SIM kit at stores and malls, supported by budget friendly Netflix x Vi bundle plans aimed at making the finale more accessible.

Stranger Things x Swiggy Instamart

With Swiggy Instamart, Netflix India launched InstaStrange, a telekinesis-powered shopping experience where users can seemingly order with their minds. The Swiggy Instamat grocery bag also had a Stranger Things poster on it for anyone and everyone who bought from the app!

Stranger Things x G Shock India

G Shock launched an exclusive Stranger Things collection for fans to buy before the final season begins!

Stranger Things x Indian content creators 

While many content creators from India got the chance to interview the cast of Stranger Things, two in particular who got attention on social media was Rob from M.A.D getting a chance to ask the cast of Stranger Things to add to his sketch of the Upside Down. And of course the much needed digi snan for Steve Harrington!

Stranger Things : One Way or Another: A Nancy Wheeler Mystery novel

A popular mystery novel called Stranger Things: One Way or Another: A Nancy Wheeler Mysteryby Caitlin Schneiderhan, released this month, filling the gap between Seasons 4 and 5 as Nancy and Robin solve a new case in Hawkins, offering fans more content and character depth before the final season.
