#LetsKetchup: While we had quite a few surprises in films thrown at us over the year, there were some worst films of 2022 that made us question why they were made in the first place!

After 2022 is at an end, we can safely say that the film industry is at the receiving end of one after another curve ball being thrown at it by the audience. Blockbusters like RRR, KGF 2, and Gangubai Kathiawadi worked as well as Kantara and Drishyam 2 which is big considering neither of them was a mass-scale production and one out of them was a remake. While we had a mixed run with films, there were some that actually made us question why we were sitting and watching them in the first place. They literally gave us a headache and could totally come under the category of the worst films of 2022!

Somehow there were many that were fairly very disappointing films like Govinda Naam Mera, Shamshera, Ram Setu, Samrat Prithviraj (basically all Akshay Kumar Films in 2022), and more. While we could still sit through these, there were those that were really something as they made us question why they were made especially given the talented cast that some of them had! Maybe sometimes trial and error is all that one can do to check what’s working and not working today. And while we get that we sincerely hope that the industry takes these worst films of 2022 as lessons in what not to make since everything and anything doesn’t work with the audience anymore and for how long can we forgive the misfires of trials and errors!
