Pran who was a very loved hero chose to become a well-known villain, and the reason seems to be his hate for dancing (but we loved watching him dance in the song ‘Yaari hai imaan mera yaar meri Zindagi’). He became such an important part of the industry that writers especially wrote roles for him. Every movie he acted in ended with the credits as ‘and Pran’ giving him a special mention.
