Why is everyone so obsessed with Pedro Pascal? Let's discuss!

While we love him as Joel Miller, Mando, or even Marcus Acacius, there are multiple reasons why people can be obsessed with Pedro Pascal! 

This is Pedro Pascal’s world, and I am glad we are living in it. As an actor who turned the tide for his own career, José Pedro Balmaceda Pascal transformed from a character who could be killed off to the main protagonist who can be killed but leaves a huge impact on the audience. It is not often that you encounter an actor who truly affects you, inspiring you not only to improve at what you do but also to keep the hope alive that good things will happen. But what makes him so lovable and admirable that he instantly becomes the highlight of any press conference, movie, or even a red carpet event that isn't centred around his film? For an actor who might not fit the 'traditional' idea of what Hollywood male beauty is, he often appears with his scraggly beard, little stubby fingers, and a Lakers t-shirt that he ends up repeating every chance he gets hence it makes one wonder what makes him so attractive to an audience!

You can say that it's probably his laugh; the high-pitched wheezes that escape every time someone tells a joke, or when he cracks one himself and finds it funny. His laugh feels so genuine and infectious that it can make any serious, deadbeat guy chuckle. Unlike many other celebrities, he's always been straightforward about following or even checking out his fan pages. He also eventually embraced the title of "daddy" with good humor and who does that! Enjoying all the attention, he demonstrates that he is unfazed by judgment and values the love his fans have for him much more.

His beautiful brown eyes are kind and crinkly; they're equally warm and expressive. It could also be his giddiness at seeing good nail art! Imagine meeting someone who cares about the nails you spend hours perfecting - that's definitely a reason to obsess over him! Or perhaps it's the most obvious reason - his characters. He's an actor who has portrayed characters that are broody, charming, heartbreaking, evil, protective, and sad. Even if his characters often end up dead, which they sadly do, they still leave an impression on the audience.

Or maybe it's his personality! Pascal radiates positive masculinity; he's unafraid to embrace his feminine side. He can be openly vulnerable about his own insecurities, either in accepting his large nose or his struggles with dealing with anxiety. He does it all while being equally goofy and playful. There is an aura of genuineness and unadulterated honesty that makes you want to watch all of his interviews! You know he is a gem when even his co-stars praise him for making them feel comfortable and safe around him. How can you forget his fear of love? As someone who radiates genuine care and love for any relationship in life, he has also spoken about being scared over the thought of potentially losing a loved one and the emotional weight that it will entail.

While his personality adds to his appeal, it's his commitment to stand up for what's right that truly sets him apart. As a progressive king, Pascal stays informed about the current political landscape and actively supports underrepresented and marginalized communities. A true example of what it means to be an ally, he consistently uses his platform to express his disdain for those who oppose basic human rights. His Twitter phase will always belong in the hall of fame for how open and dedicated he has always been towards various issues. The fact that people find a reason to reshare and celebrate them is proof!
