The last 3 days was the first time I was away from Shailin for a single night after 7 long months & the feeling was so unexplainably bittersweet 💛 I was beyond excited to be finally travelling for a work trip & yet the dawn of separation was hitting hard. Lockdown had us experiencing something for the first time in our relationship - an abundance of time together. And that slowness - that stillness - made us discover a whole new realm of ourselves and each other. Life slowing down allowed us to indulge in so many activities we always talked about doing together but never managed to because our jobs, travels and daily chaos didn't permit it. And as things open up & both our work travels begin to resume, I can’t help but want to hold on to those days & moments together. But looks like, it’s time to find balance again. The only thing I’m holding onto is knowing that this experience will always remind us to keep going back to it ever so often... that feeling of just US ✨ #Shailoom
