creator wishlist

From the holiday magic to some strength to keep going, content creators have their Christmas wishlist ready and here's what they are wishing for!

It's hard not to love December - strawberries, that slight nip in the air even in cities like Mumbai, Christmas carols, prepping for NYE and tons of secret Santa presents! IDC how old you are, you've gotta love presents! I know you're lying if you say you feel otherwise! Getting something that's been on your mind and having to guess who it's from, that's like a favorite activity to do during this time. And if this is us, we wonder what it will be like for content creators who might be feeling like it's Christmas all year round what with receiving product samples and PR packages so often. Not to mention their comments' section which is full of compliments that boost your morale! After this, what’s left to wish for? From the outside, it’s easy to assume their wishlist begins and ends with more views, more likes, and more engagement. And while that might be true for some, it turns out many creators have wishlists that go far beyond the algorithm. Behind the ring lights and curated feeds are some very real, very relatable hopes they’re quietly wishing for this holiday season.

“I really want a big Christmas tree in my room, decorated with pink bows and soft lights. Just sitting there with a cup of hot chocolate, doing nothing, and quietly staring at the tree, sounds magical. And my second wish is to go to Lapland. They say it’s the home of Santa Claus and that it feels truly magical. I’d love to experience that magic myself.”

“My Secret Santa wishlist is not very flashy. I wish for the strength to not chase every trend just because it’s trending, and to trust my own voice even on days it feels small. I wish for ideas that come from stillness, not pressure and timelines that breathe, not crunch. A good mic, soft lights, and a calm mind would be nice too.

I wish for collaborations that value storytelling over statistics. I’d love to work with big brands of course, but only the kind that see creators as humans first, not content machines. And if possible, sprinkle in some patience, better deals (both money and exposure-wise), and a reminder that slow growth is also real growth. That’s it.”

“If I’m being completely honest, from a content creator’s point of view, my ideal Christmas wish would be to stop letting numbers on social media define my worth or dictate my mood. To remember that views, likes, and followers are just data points, not a reflection of effort, or creativity.

And the same time, I want to keep pushing my own bar when it comes to content quality and consistency, not out of pressure, but out of genuine love for creating. To show up even on days when growth feels slow and still trust the process. And most importantly, I want to continue enjoying the journey, brainstorming, filming, edits, the learning and even the mistakes. Because the goal is to enjoy this process and being present with it.”
