We’ve come a long way over the last few decades - from using floppy disks and CDs to now using smartphones, so much has changed. Can you imagine your day without using your phone or going on a road trip without Google Maps? It’s impossible to live our lives without gadgets and software - after all, they make life much simpler. But don’t we all take daily life tech gadgets for granted? Yes, we do! We forget how the level of effort behind each chore and task as gone down with the invention of new technology.
So, here's take a look at daily life tech that we often take for granted:
Google Maps: One of the most significant softwares of our time, Google Maps is so accurate! Besides, it continues to improve from time to time. There are so many features that make it extremely useful - navigating around has never been easier!
Smartphones: We don’t even realise how much we use our smartphones, for just about everything! It’s like a pocket computer with multiple features, and lets you do so much. Taking photos, watching videos, surfing the web, speaking on the phone - this is only a fraction of the tasks it can perform. What’s more, smartphones are super reliable too - after all, they work so well even after we use them for long hours every single day!
Facebook: Though it was launched way back in 2004, it became popular a few years later. We don’t realise how much of our lives we share on this network - it makes it easy to stay in touch with friends and family. It started as an experiment for college campuses - today, it has become a great platform for brands to redefine their presence, share viral videos, and organise events.

Wikipedia: Again, one website we just can’t do without! The content might not always be accurate or up-to-date, but Wikipedia is incredibly useful, offering generally good content across a huge number of topics and categories. Did you know? The Cloud: Be it Google Drive or any other cloud, we use it all the time! Imagine if your computer crashed ten years ago, you would have been in utter panic. Of course, there are downsides to everything, and we know too much of anything is bad, including daily life tech. But that doesn’t mean we can’t appreciate the good things in life, and how useful they are!
