Delhi Crime season 2 starring Shefali Shah was released on Netflix on August 26. Let's have a look if the reviews are all praises or criticism!
After a very successful season 1, the Emmy award-winning series has come back with a new gruesome case to solve. This time around we have the story focusing on the Kachcha-Baniyaan gang from the 1990s who were known for their brutal killings around posh neighborhoods in Delhi. It's up to the brave DCP Vartika Chaturvedi (Shefali Shah) and her team of determined police officers, Neeti (Rasika Duggal), Inspector Bhupendra Singh (Rajesh Tailang), SHO Shubhash Gupta (Siddharth Bhardwaj), Sudhir Kumar (Gopal Dutt) to once again get to the root of a heinous crime and stop these killings from taking place. Vartika's daughter, Chandni (Yashaswini Dayama) moves to Toronto this season for her studies and doesn't fail to remind her mom that Toronto is not as unsafe as Delhi so she has nothing to worry about. Season 2 is based on a chapter called Moon Gazer from former Delhi police officer, Neeraj Kumar's book, Khaki Files.
Created by Richie Mehta and directed by Tanuj Chopra, Delhi Crime season 2 has an impactful story with a cast so good that you feel that they solve cases in their everyday lives. The series digs deeper into societal issues that are relevant even today and gives you insight into how a police investigation takes place. Knocking it out of the park with each performance, Shefali Shah is the most talked about actor amongst the audience right now.

season 2 always needs to outdo the first
Well , dcp vartika chaturvedi @ShefaliShah_ is on point with her top notch performance makes us glued to the screen despite it falters , falls a bit but gets back right up
The
Delhi Crime season 2 is quite good and all but do Delhi cops really say these many "fucks"?

The performances are astounding and the premise is completely unique and interestingly handled. However, I cannot help but feel that Delhi Crime Season 2 felt a bit too compressed due to it only being 5 episodes. (1/?)
Delhi Crime is Netflix's best Indian product and season 2 is as hard-hitting, raw and aggressive Police Procedural as first Season was. Biggest victory of this show, it's not about WhoDunnIt, it's more about strength, weakness and discrimination of our Police Force.

delhi crime season 2 seems to be an extended version of crime patrol

I can etch on stone that @ShefaliShah_ is the best actor in India. Ruthless yet Vulnerable, she is a bomb act in Season 2 of Delhi Crime. Like Darlings wasn’t enough and here comes Ms. Chaturvedi . Emmys :Drop that golden statue at her door already. Waiting for 3rd Madam DIG!

Delhi Crime season 2 - Shefali Shah once again sinks into Vartika Chaturvedi in the series ably supported by Rasika Duggal , Rajesh Tailang and others. Yes , it may not connect emotionally as the first season for obvious reasons but it is a series made without missing (1/n)

Delhi Crime Season 2 was amazing 💯. Hoping there would be another season. Hats off to the entire team for making an incredibly interesting series that never disappoints. #DelhiCrimeSeason2

Is there a difference in the aspect ratio used while shooting Delhi Crime season 1 and season 2? The ratio used in season 1 made it feel like the camera inhabited the world, whereas in season 2 the camera seems quite distant and detached.

Watched Delhi Crime Season 2. @ShefaliShah_ is the best actress in the country right now and Delhi Crime Season 2 is better than season 1.#DelhiCrimeSeason2 @netflix pic.twitter.com/5HaiG7yCTM

Makers of Delhi Crime Season 2 should've done proper reasearch before depicting Denotified tribes in their new series. This is a very sensitive issue. #DelhiCrimeSeason2

I felt like I myself am Vritika, watching 'Delhi Crime' season 2 on Netflix

The way she stood strong against political and hierarchical pressure in support of denotified tribes (DNT) against stereotyping them as 'born-criminals' was commendable 👌
It's the right thing to do 🤗
Liked Delhi Crime Season 2. No one, can play the role of DCP Vartika better than @ShefaliShah_ . As usual, @_AdilHussain as CP Kumar Vijay won my heart. Specially, loved to hear his English accent. Entire team did a fabulous job. The end gave a hint of another season.

I liked season 2 of Delhi Crime! I loved how much they emphasised how we treat oppressed people and the leniency we take in blaming them without stereotyping. They spent 4 episodes, and honestly, I wouldn't have if they had spent the entire series on that. https://t.co/VHoOSPR7eW

Just finished watching Delhi Crime season 2. The story of the Chaddhi-Baniyan gang is terrifying. All this was taking place in such known areas like GK, Vasant Vihar, Green Park …
