Friday Night Plan is a Netflix Original film starring Babil Khan, Juhi Chawla and Amrith Jayan, produced by Excel Entertainment and directed by Vatsal Neelakantan. It is a comedy about two brothers who sneak out to attend a party while their mother is away on a business trip. The film will premiere on September 1, only on Netflix.

Victoria's Secret has revealed its headliner for The Victoria's Secret World Tour and it's none other than Doja Cat! The event will be half fashion show, half documentary on the brand’s reimagined runway show. Doja is also actively working on new music and will be performing tracks off her upcoming album for the event that premieres on Prime Video on Sept. 26.
Trailer for Dream Girl 2 starring Ayushmann Khurana and Ananya Panday is out
Dream Girl 2, a sequel to the 2019 comedy Dream Girl had Ayushmann as a call centre employee who talks to callers in a female voice, pretending to be Pooja. The sequel, also directed by Raaj Shaandilyaa, sees Ayushmann take his Pooja avatar to a whole new level. Ananya Panday will also be seen in Dream Girl 2.
Brad Pitt pauses filming on his upcoming film based on F1 in support of Hollywood strikes
The production for F1 movie starring Brad Pitt stops with the ongoing Hollywood writer's strikes. In F1, Pitt will play Sonny Hayes, an F1 veteran who comes out of retirement to coach a younger driver.

Akshay Kumar and Pankaj Tripathi starrer OMG 2 trailer out
The trailer of OMG 2, starring Akshay Kumar and Pankaj Tripathi is out now. The film is a sequel to the 2012 hit OMG-Oh My God, and it is a social comedy/drama. Akshay Kumar plays the role of a ‘messenger’ of Lord Shiva, who guides Pankaj Tripathi’s character to fight for his son’s rights. Yami Gautam also stars in the film as a lawyer.
R Balki’s Ghoomer to hit screens on August 18
Directed by R Balki, Ghoomer stars Abhishek Bachchan and Saiyami Kher. Ghoomer is a unique story of a paraplegic woman who becomes a cricketer under the guidance of her coach. The movie is scheduled to hit the screens on August 18, 2023. It will also have its world premiere at the 14th Indian Film Festival of Melbourne on August 12, 2023
Teaser for Rajkummar Rao starrer Guns And Gulaabs released
Guns And Gulaabs will be available for streaming from August 18 on Netflix. It is a comedy crime thriller series created and directed by Raj Nidimoru and Krishna DK, starring Rajkummar Rao, Dulquer Salmaan, Adarsh Gourav and Gulshan Devaiah. The series is set in the cartel-run town of Gulaabgunj, where an unprecedented opium deal pulls a big-city cop and a lovesick mechanic into its chaotic clutches.
Koi... Mil Gaya re-released in theatres this weekend
Koi… Mil Gaya is being re-released on big screens starting August 4 to celebrate its 20th anniversary. The movie, which stars Hrithik Roshan, Preity Zinta and Rekha was India's first sci-fi film which went to become a favorite for generations to come. The movie will be shown in PVR and INOX cinemas across 30 cities in India, including Delhi and Mumbai.

Nitin Chandrakant Desai passed away at the age of 57 on August 2, 2023. He was a renowned art director who worked on many Hindi and Marathi films with directors like Sanjay Leela Bhansali, Ashutosh Gowariker, Rajkumar Hirani and Vidhu Vinod Chopra. He had also won four National Film Awards and three Filmfare Awards for his work.
