This week there were quite a few things from the industry that caught our attention. Karan Johar announced an upcoming Dharma movie starring Varun Dhawan and Janhvi Kapoor. Kiara Advani will be seen opposite Ranveer Singh in Don 3. Alia Bhatt wrapped up filming for her next film ‘Jigra’ and subtly announced her co-star as well. In the Bhool Bhulaiya universe, Triptii Dimri joins as the new female lead for the third film. Sidharth Malhotra’s Yodha teaser was also released this week.

Kareena Kapoor, Tabu and Kriti Sanon starrer ‘The Crew’ first posters released
Looks like Kareena Kapoor, Tabu and Kriti Sanon are ready to steal, risk and fake it till they make it because that’s what their new first look posters say. The Crew is produced by Rhea Kapoor and directed by Rajesh Krishnan. The film will be released on the big screen on March 29.
Karan Johar announces Dharma Productions’ next venture ‘Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari’ starring Varun Dhawan and Janhvi Kapoor
Varun Dhawan and Janhvi Kapoor who we previously saw in Bawaal, are now teaming up for a rom-com named ‘Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari’. The film will be directed by Shashank Khaitan and the movie is a part of his ‘Dulhania’ universe which has proven to be a success at the box office. The film is produced by Karan Johar’s banner Dharma Productions and will be released in April next year.
Triptii Dimri joins the cast of Bhool Bhulaiya 3
The makers of the film along with Kartik Aaryan, posted the announcement on their social media and said that ‘the thrills and chills intensify with the addition of Triptii Dimri on board’. Just last week, it was announced that Vidya Balan aka the OG Manjulika will also be a part of the third chapter. The film will be directed by Anees Bazmee and released on Diwali this year.
Ajay Devgn, Jyotika and R. Madhavan starrer ‘Shaitaan’ trailer released.
Shaitaan is adapted from a 2023 Gujarati film called ‘Vash’. The film is directed by Vikas Behl and will be released on the big screen on March 8. The movie stars Ajay Devgn, R. Madhavan and the South star, Jyotika.
Sidharth Malhotra starrer Yodha teaser released
The action packed teaser showed Sidharth Malhotra fighting hijackers and terrorists mid-air to rescue passengers on an Air India flight. It also gave a glimpse of Disha Patani and Rashii Khanna as air hostesses in the film. The film will be released in theaters on March 15 and is being produced by Dharma Productions.
Varun Dhawan and Natasha Dalal made a social media announcement as they are expecting their first child together
In a heartwarming social media post, Varun Dhawan shared that he is expecting his first child with wife Natasha Dalal. The two tied the knot in 2021 and have been dating pretty much since their college days. He wrote in his caption “We are pregnant. Need all your love and blessings. #myfamilymystrength”.
Kiara Advani becomes the latest addition to the ‘Don 3’ universe
After Ranveer Singh was announced as the new Don, Kiara Advani will be playing the new Roma in the film. The makers shared a short announcement on social media earlier this week. The film is produced by Excel Entertainment and will be released in 2025.

‘The Boys’ season 4 to premiere on June 13
Emmy-winning drama series ‘The Boys’ will premiere its fourth season on June 13. The first three episodes will come out on June 13 and the rest will be a weekly release up until July 18. The series has eight episodes in total and will stream on Prime Video worldwide.
True Detective renewed for season 5
After season 4 just wrapping up, True Detective is already renewed for a season 5. While the details of the new season are not revealed yet, Issa Lopez will return as the showrunner.
