In a world where we seem to care so much about our skincare routine and what's happening in our favorite TV shows, I wonder if we really care as much about the planet we live on. We all believe we're doing our bit to make this a greener place, but are we really? As a population, we talk the talk but we rarely walk the walk. Seriously, we don't even end up walking as much as we should because it's so hot outside. And while we don't like to think about it, we're all somewhere responsible for global warming.
What can we do about this? Well, we can start small. Invest in eco-friendly straws instead of using plastic ones and opt for 'don't send cutlery' on delivery apps. Even switching to menstrual cups from sanitary napkins and tampons makes all the difference. Carrying cloth bags for shopping and groceries, using a wooden toothbrush, wrapping gifts in newspapers, shifting to reusable water bottles are all sustainable options we can opt for. This doesn't sound too difficult now, does it?
