From Nancy Tyagi's self-made designs to Sakshi Sindwani making a stunning debut, here are all the creators we spotted at Cannes Film Festival 2025 so far.
Conversations around the presence of content creators at global events like the Cannes Film Festival have been a part of social media discussions and debates for a long time now. While we have had people explaining the process of how these creators end up on a global platform, that is also an opportunity to market themselves, along with celebrating art and culture, the doubts continue to remain. Kusha Kapila, who walked the red carpet in 2023, was one of the many creators who've been questioned for being a part of this global event. Some even accused them of appearing in these events solely for publicity rather. However, Kapila's thoughtful response to these criticisms has resurfaced and is getting widely appreciated.
The fact cannot be denied that content creators have carved out their own space at major events. They have recognised the impact that these events have, not only for their personal branding but also for the culture and art they represent. This year, too, was no different, as we saw a mix of familiar faces and new debuts on the red carpet. These creators have made sure to not only celebrate global cinema but also art and fashion. As the festival continues to grab global attention, we have made a list of creators we spotted on the red carpet.
Check them out!
Sakshi Sindwani
Sindwani made her Cannes debut wearing a Gauri and Nainika, a cloud of powder-blue off-shoulder gown that looked like a fairy dream. For her second look at the Bharat Pavilion, she appeared in a custom JADE by Monica and Karishma ensemble. It was a stunning blend of traditional elegance and modern couture that complemented well. She stunned again in her third look, which channeled her inner Cleopatra. Wearing an Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla, her Byzantine-inspired outfit was embellished in metallic beads, amber stones, emeralds and sequins.
Masoom Minawala
Minawala walked the red carpet drapped in a stunning ensemble by Arpita Mehta. She paid tribute to the age-old ‘Sheesha’ embroidery from Gujarat and Rajasthan, where mirrorwork means more than just beauty, symbolizing protection, reflection, and celebration. For her second look, she wore a stunning custom Ivory Silk Ensemble by RÉIK that is a contemporary tribute to the timeless elegance of 20th century French couture, brought to life through Indian craftsmanship. An outer cape draped elegantly over a tailored jumpsuit, creating a seamless blend of structure and movement.
Disha Madan
Disha made a stunning debut channeling desi mermaid energy in a custom Shloka Sudhakar creation. With sequins repurposed from her wedding saree and the dramatic T - shaped trail that was a symbolic nod to her roots and journey, she added a bit of herself to all her outfits.
Her second look was able to bring her grace and heritage to the global stage, as she made it to the red carpet in a 70-year-old Kanjivaram saree. A tribute to the many shades of womanhood, her look stood as a quiet yet powerful celebration of Indian culture.
Nancy Tyagi
Nancy was back at the French Riviera in a gown handcrafted over 700 hours. She wore her own design that was inspired by a garden in full bloom. Her second look, a sparkling, embellished gown with a stunning tail was also designed by her, which was not just a tribute to her mother but a reminder of her self-made dreams.
Parul Gulati
Parul looked effortlessly chic in her outfit by Mohit Rai as she attended the ‘1 Night In’ party by Nespresso. She was also able to represent her own entrepreneurial spirit with her custom dress by ITRH. Choosing to go unconventional for the premiere of Eddington, she appeared in a dress that was crafted entirely from braided hair. Her third look brought a sultry, desi charm as she was draped in a custom Benarasi tissue saree by Mohit Rai and ITRH.
Sejal Kumar
Sejal graced the carpet in a stunning custom royal blue saree by Papa Don't Preach by Shubhika. She brought out her inner Shanti Priya energy as she blended bold elegance with a touch of drama. For ‘1 Night In’ soirée by Nespresso, she appeared in a custom Supria Munjal
Simran Balat Jain
Simran made a debut in an outfit titled The Cage Breaker. A tribute to unheard, unseen women, especially those rebuilding their lives in conflict zones, and to every girl who was ever told she couldn’t.
Nitibha Kaul
Nitibha made her red carpet debut in a custom couture creation by Nicol Sposa. Hand-embroidered with sparkling rhinestones and layered with sheer nude organza, the gown reflects quiet strength, modern elegance, and timeless romance-just like her.
