The story charts the journey of Alisha (Deepika) and Zain (Siddhant), as they confront the ghosts of their respective past on the path that they take to avoid or run from it. Alisha (Deepika) is in a long time living relationship with Karan (Dhairya) whom she knows from her childhood days. While Tia (Ananya) is her cousin and is engaged to Zain (Siddhant) who is a businessman. Desires, their present, and past encapture Alisha and Zain towards each other and they go on a path of cheating on their partners. But human emotions are never that simple and hence everything gets entangled in a web of secrets and lies. 6. Last, you need certain knowledge of "movie" to understand what was going on there. People leaving shitty reviews are generally the one that enjoy movies like "Prem Ratan Dhan Payo".
The funniest part of #Gehraaiyaan is that Deepika offers water to people stranded in the sea, and boarded her yacht. 😂 What a waste of great camera work and cinematics. The writing is so bad 80% of dialogues and steamy scenes are unnatural and look forced.

1. All main characters including women owned their sexuality 2. Children called out their parents for being uncaring 3. Some men when put on financial stress ruin everything

#Gehraaiyaan perfectly shows how men react under pressure and use it to gaslight and justify treating women like a doormat. Men be like yes we are assholes and there's a reason for being one.
My gang and I watched #Gehraaiyaan this weekend. The post-movie discussions lasted for 2h, mostly defending our favorite character. Sure, a few things could have been better. But the fact that this movie leads to a stimulating conversation alone shows how good it is! 7.5/10
I don't know why #Gehraaiyaan is getting so much hate. It was a good movie about complex relationships. May be a little long but still worth watching for good performance from Deepika and Siddhant,good cinematography and writing.

liked #Gehraaiyaan for a simple reason that it's not a movie with a protagonist but it's about people who got flaws, messed up past which is affecting their present decisions, complications and chaos happening around and within themselves....
Why did #Gehraaiyaan get such lousy reviews? I thought it was a decent watch. It showed a mirror to the society. It might not exactly be us, but aren’t there people who’re over-ambitious, highly aspirational for want of a “happening” life. And that takes a toll on relationships.
