Avocado Grilled Cheese There is something about grilled cheese with a tomato bisque, eh? I have lots of different variations of grilled cheese, this one is simple and tasty. First, butter the bread. Use good bread! We used Dave's Killer Bread. Butter two pieces. Get a pan heating on medium low, make sure that it's big enough to put both pieces down at once. Take both pieces of bread and layer the cheese. I used extra sharp cheddar, gruyere and parmesan cheese. I added thinly sliced tomato and avocado on one side. Place both in the pan. Make sure it's not too hot, you want the bread to be there long enough to melt the cheese and not too hot to burn the bread. Once browned perfectly, stack like a sandwich, slice in half and enjoy with tomato bisque! Ingredients 2 slices of whole grain bread 4 slices extra sharp cheddar cheese 2 slices gruyere cheese 2 oz shaved parmesan cheese 2 thin slices of tomato 1/2 avocado 3 tablespoons butter #grilledcheese #sandwich #sammich #sandwichtime #sandwichrecipe #avocado #gruyere #cheddar #cheese #cheeselover #comfortfood #recipe #soupandsandwich #foodporn #foodstagram #foodblog #yummyaf #delicious #grilledcheeserecipe #foodgasm #nomnomnom #mmmm #getinthekitchen
