The media is swamped by stories of Cristiano Ronaldo’s transfer from Real Madrid to Juventus. And why not, the news is BIG! After nine seasons, 450 goals, four Champions League titles and four Ballon d'Or awards, Ronaldo has bid farewell to Real Madrid. The deal, once you factor in wages, transfer fee and commissions, will be comfortably north of $350 million. At 33, transferring from Real Madrid is a big leap, given the fact that he has 2-3 years before players conventionally retire in Football.
