Yesterday, Union Sports Minister, Rajyavardhan Rathore kickstarted a fitness challenge that has already gotten some of the biggest and most iconic people in India involved. The #HumFitTohIndiaFit challenge is trending and snowballing into something bigger.

It all began with Rajyavardhan Rathore, and soon enough, names such as Virat Kohli, Hrithik Roshan, Saina Nehwal, Mahendra Singh Dhoni, Anushka Sharma and even Prime Minister Narendra Modi and more became involved with the initiative.

Here’s how the challenge began with Rajyavardhan Rathore, who did some pushups to show how he stays fit and then challenged Hrithik Roshan, Virat Kohli and Saina Nehwal.

The challenge was accepted by all of them who soon posted videos of themselves working out.

Here’s Hrithik Roshan cycling on the roads of Mumbai, who then challenged his parents, Pinkie Roshan and Rakesh Roshan, fitness junkie, Tiger Shroff and actor Kunal Kapoor.

Virat Kohli at the gym giving a hard time to his core, who then challenged his wife, Anushka Sharma, Prime Minister Narendra Modi and his teammate, Mahendra Singh Dhoni for the challenge.

Saina Nehwal chose to do deadlifts for #HumFitTohIndiaFit and then challenged, Rana Daggubatti, Gautam Gambhir and fellow shuttler, PV Sindhu.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi accepted Virat’s challenge and Twitter was amused at watching something rare unfold before their eyes.
