Tanvi The Great release date unveiled
An upcoming Hindi-language drama directed by Anupam Kher, Tanvi The Great is a joint production by Anupam Kher Studio and the National Film Development Corporation (NFDC). Featuring Anupam Kher in a pivotal role, the movie also stars Iain Glen and will be released on July 18, 2025. This film follows the inspiring journey of Tanvi Raina, a young woman with autism, who sets out to honor her late father’s dream of saluting the Indian flag at Siachen. Battling societal norms and systemic obstacles, her quest becomes a powerful path of courage, determination, and self-discovery.
Wicked: For Good release date unveiled
Wicked: For Good is an upcoming American musical fantasy film directed by Jon M. Chu, with a screenplay by Winnie Holzman and Dana Fox. Serving as the sequel to Wicked (2024) and the concluding chapter of the two-part film adaptation, the movie features returning stars Cynthia Erivo, Ariana Grande, Jonathan Bailey, Ethan Slater, Marissa Bode, Michelle Yeoh, and Jeff Goldblum. And will be released on November 21, 2025.
Helmed by Gareth Edwards and penned by David Koepp, who also wrote the original Jurassic Park, Jurassic World Rebirth features Scarlett Johansson, Jonathan Bailey, and Mahershala Ali in lead roles. Set five years after Jurassic World Dominion, in a world deemed largely inhospitable to dinosaurs, the trailer teases a high-stakes showdown as the protagonists confront mysterious monoliths left behind on an isolated island where experiments once took place.
Rahul Bose launches anthem for Rugby Premier League
Former National rugby player, actor, and current President of Rugby India, Rahul Bose has kicked off the Rugby Premier League with the launch of an anthem directed by Ankur Tiwari. Though details about the league remain under wraps, the anthem has already created a buzz across social media platforms.
Walt Disney Studios has unveiled the teaser trailer for Zootopia 2, the eagerly awaited sequel to the 2016 animated film Zootopia. Set to release in Indian theatres on November 28, 2025 in English, Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu, the film brings back fan-favorite duo Judy Hopps (voiced by Ginnifer Goodwin) and Nick Wilde (voiced by Jason Bateman) for a brand-new adventure. The trailer also introduces a mysterious new addition to the cast, Gary De'Snake, a pit viper voiced by Ke Huy Quan, who adds a twist to the already vibrant and unpredictable world of Zootopia.
The Traitors release date unveiled
Hosted by Karan Johar, The Traitors features 20 celebrities from various spheres, who come together in this ultimate test of trust and betrayal, as they compete to win a significant cash prize and the coveted title. Premiering on June 12, this reality show will exclusively stream on Prime Video.
Dhanush to play APJ Abdul Kalam in biopic on the late scientist
Announced at Cannes Film Festival 2025, a biopic on India's former President, APJ Abdul Kalam is in the works with Dhanush playing the late scientist himself. Directed by Om Raut, this film is titled 'Kalam: The Missile Man of India'.
Kieran Culkin is the latest addition to the cast of The Hunger Games: Sunrise on the Reaping, the upcoming prequel to the popular franchise. Joining him is Elle Fanning, with the film slated for a theatrical release on November 20, 2026.
Avengers: Doomsday and Secret Wars to be postponed
Marvel Studios has reshuffled its release calendar, delaying two of its most highly anticipated Avengers films. Avengers: Doomsday has been pushed back from May 1, 2026, to December 18, 2026, a delay of nearly seven months. In turn, Avengers: Secret Wars has also been rescheduled, now set to hit theaters on December 17, 2027, instead of its original May 7 date. As part of this schedule overhaul, Marvel has also removed Untitled Marvel that was previously set for February 13, 2026, from its release slate.
